INDIA. Mumbai: The multilayered actors of the B-town Kiara Advani and Shahid Kapoor, make the most of it on the Koffee couch. The JugJugg Jeeyo actor debuted in “Koffee with Karan ” season seven, taking the show a notch higher with the warmth of her presence.
Whereas, Shahid is known to be the ‘mascot’ of the show, says the host. The ‘Kabir Singh’ actors treated their fans with some candid conversations over coffee.
During the ongoing discussion, Shahid and Karan teased Kiara about her rumoured relationship with Shershaah co-star Sidharth Malhotra. They asked her a few questions about her relationship with Sid, to which Kiara said “Funnily, Sid and I knew each other before we were cast together in Shershaah. We started talking at the wrap-up party of Lust Stories, which we crashed. We casually met.”
Shahid wily replied to her “Nice to know that you remember so clearly where you guys met.” Making it sound worthwhile, Kiara ended up saying “Of course, I’ll never forget that night.”
Karan asked Kiara if she was ready for marriage right now, to which she beautifully responded, “I’ve always believed in the institution of marriage because I’ve seen a beautiful marriage at home. I do see that in my life, but I’m not revealing anything on Koffee with Karan”.
This could be a clear hint of her marriage plans, which may take place anytime soon. Kiara eventually confronts that, “she is not accepting anything nor denying” her relationship with Siddharth.
Both the actors have something beautiful to talk about each other on the couch, when KJo asked Kiara “out of all the male co-stars who is her closest friend” she gently named Shahid, to which the Jersey actor called himself the safe answer to Kiara.
But, Kiara “praised him for always being there whenever she needed”. On the other hand, when Shahid is asked about “One no.1 actor and actress in Bollywood” he names his co-star Kiara, alongside KGF famed Yash. This clearly shows the rare offscreen bond of friendship between the two before the success of Kabir Singh.
