India and Other Teams Announce Squads for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022

AUSTRALIA: The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 is anticipated to begin early in the following month. The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 will start on October 16. The qualifiers are the first round of the competition. India’s first game is against Pakistan on October 23. Australia is going to be the host for this year’s ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022.

Eight teams have already qualified for the T20 World Cup 2022’s super 12 rounds. They are Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, South Africa, England, Australia, and New Zealand. Two groups—group 1 and group 2—have been formed.

Group 1 includes England, Afghanistan, New Zealand, and Australia. Group 2 includes India, Pakistan, South Africa, and Bangladesh. After the qualifying phase, two additional teams will join each group. Teams including Sri Lanka, Namibia, the United Arab Emirates, the Netherlands, Zimbabwe, Ireland, Scotland, and the West Indies are in the qualifying stages. Out of these, four teams will advance to the Super 12 round.

The defending ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 champions, Australia, won the inaugural T20 World Cup by defeating New Zealand in the previous year’s championship match. Many clubs have already revealed their lineups for the eagerly anticipated premier competition. Here, we look at the 2022 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup roster.
