INDIA: Salaar starring Prabhas bagged an official release date. Prashanth Neel has revealed the release date for the next action-thriller film. The movie is scheduled to be released in theatres on September 28, 2023.
The film’s creators teased viewers with an update on Saturday. Finally, the release date is added to the list, heightening audience anticipation.
Salaar gets an official release date
After the blockbuster films K.G.F: Chapter 1 and Chapter 2, Prashanth Neel is gearing up for Salaar. The film spawned a massive hype when Prabhas was confirmed in the titular role of the talented filmmaker’s magnum opus venture. Since the confirmation of the actor, numerous posters have been added as an update. Following a long await, the movie finally received a release date.
Prabhas and Prasanth Neel announced the release date on their social media accounts. The tweet read, “REBEL’LING WORLDWIDE ON SEP 28, 2023. #Salaar #TheEraOfSalaarBegins.”
Along with the release date, the creators shared a visually gripping poster. The key visual featured Prabhas in a marvelous look-wielding a sword. We also get a glimpse of firearms strapped to the waist. The talented actor appears to be gearing up for some action. “SALAAR,” read the banner, giving off dark and thrilling vibes as K.G.F.
Prashanth Neel helmed the upcoming action-thriller film. Besides directing the filmmaker also penned the story of the movie. Vijay Kiragandur is also back after the K.G.F film series to produce the movie under the banner of Hombale Films. Ravi Basrur, known for his magnum opus K.G.F BGM has also composed the film’s music.
Salaar stars Prabhas in the titular role. The movie also features talented stars from the film industry, which include Shruti Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Jagapathi Babu. The action-thriller was earlier set to be released on April 14, 2022, but was delayed due to the pandemic.
