UNITED STATES: After Avengers: End Game and the MCU journey, The Gray Man is the Russo Brothers’ next most anticipated project. Since the publication of the trailer, the film has received a lot of attention due to the appearances of Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, and Dhanush. The first look of the Tamil star in action has mostly enthralled Indian audiences.

Apart from the wild action sequences, the multi-starrer cast, which includes Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling, Dhanush, Ana de Armas, and Rege-Jean Page, appears to be the central focus of the picture.

The Gray Man chronicles the life of a former CIA agent, focusing on the storyline in which his former colleagues are on the hunt for him. Gray Man’s trailer essentially highlighted the fantastic action sequence between Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans, which emerged as an exciting element among fans. Dhanush does not fall behind in the race of action; the acclaimed actor’s action sequences featured in promos also served as an attention-grabbing factor.

The action choreography is the highlighting factor of the Gray Man

The directorial visions of the Russo Brothers add another buzz component that transforms it from the popular source material. The Gray Man is based on Mark Greaney’s novel of the same name, published in 2009. Adapting a prominent subject matter is not the only thing that makes the film stand out. The action-thriller is considered to be Netflix’s most expensive film. Before the film’s July 22 release on OTT, it was released in theatres on July 15, with early reviews praising the action segments.

Courtney Howard, a renowned critic at Variety, wrote, @Russo Brother’ #TheGrayMan@ has unrelenting, well-constructed action sequences. Battle of wits, bullets & brawn. Ryan Gosling & @ChrisEvans share excellent repartee (and sleazebag facial hair!). Ana de Armas is badass & beauty. Dhanush’s scenes are ruthless & sharp.

“Dhanush’s scenes are brief, as he enters late in the picture, but those sequences are brutal, potent and piercing, carrying good narrative weight.” He fuses together physicality & character – and has a Movie Moment most of the other actors/characters aren’t given. #TheGrayMan,” she tweeted.
