The new images shed light on the characters’ importance in the series
House of the Dragon is a prequel series based on George RR Martin’s novel “Fire and Blood.” It will centre on the Targaryen civil war, which occurred about 300 years before the events of “Game of Thrones.”
The visuals centre on Prince Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith), who is clutching a lance and wearing armour with dragon insignia inlaid. Another crucial image depicts the Targaryen royal family. The pictures also feature Princess Rhaenyra standing in front of the Iron Throne.
Game of Thrones paved the way for the entire fantasy genre in television
Game of Thrones is a successful television series based on George R. R. Martin’s novel “A Song of Ice and Fire.” Since its debut in 2011, the series has amassed a sizable fan base in a short period. It has become a landmark series in the Fantasy Television genre due to its widespread popularity. After the first series concluded in 2019, the studio announced a prequel series. Though the fandom remained dormant when the series ended, it will be rekindled upon the unveiling of the House of the Dragon.
