SOUTH KOREA: Finally, the second season of the most awaited Korean drama, Squid Game, has been shown the green light by Netflix. On Sunday, the streaming giant publicly announced by releasing a teaser for Squid Game Season 2 on its Twitter handle.
The teaser featured the dangerous robotic doll from Season 1’s most famous Red Light Green Light game. The caption of the clip read, “Red light… GREENLIGHT! Squid Game is officially coming back for Season 2!”

Along with the clip, Netflix shared a message for the fans from Hwang Dong-Hyuk, writer, director, producer, and creator of Squid Game.
Hwang Dong-Hyuk addresses the fans with a letter that reads, “A WHOLE NEW ROUND IS COMING. It took 12 years to bring the first season of Squid Game to life last year. But it took 12 days for Squid Game to become the most popular Netflix series ever. As the writer, director, and producer of Squid Game, a huge shout out to fans around the world. Squid Game became a worldwide craze after seeming to be an instant smash formula for Netflix. It became not just the most popular series but also the most viewed Korean drama on the streaming giant.
