UNITED STATES: The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson as the titular character, will be released earlier. It has been revealed that the Matt Reeves vigilante blockbuster will be available on HBO Max on April 18 and will premiere on HBO at 8:00 p.m. ET on April 23.
The Indian release of The Batman on OTT platforms
Since HBO Max is not available in India, it is unclear when the film will be released on OTT. However, like other DC films, the film will be available via Amazon Prime Video in India. Dune (2021) and The Suicide Squad (2021) were previously available on Amazon Prime Video. The exact date on which the film will be available on the OTT platform is uncertain, but it is expected to be one to two weeks following its initial premiere in the United States.
The Cape Crusaders’ journey lands in box office triumph
On a $185-$200 million budget, Batman has now generated revenue of $735 million. Before its third weekend in US theatres and overseas premieres, the film had already grossed $500 million. Despite being the first DC film to be released this year, the WB studios have had a solid start.
