UNITED STATES: In an interview with Comicbook.com, Oscar Isaac stated that he would like to see the Midnight Sons appear in the MCU’s Moon Knight. The MCU star reveals that the team’s name did mean something to him. In quiet interviews, he had casually mentioned the infamous MCU team-up.
Midnight Sons is a supernatural group of heroes formed by Doctor Strange
Midnight Sons is a group of people with magical abilities who live within Marvel’s cosmos. The team made its first appearance in Ghost Rider #31 in November 1992.
Doctor Strange created the original Midnight Sons as an occult of nine beings with magical abilities to confront Lilith and her evil progeny, The Lilin. Doctor Strange, Hellstrom, Morbius, Warewolf by Night, Jennifer Kale, the Ghost Riders, Johnny Blaze, and Danny Ketch made up the team.
On the other hand, new members are added to the team as it evolves. But there is one member who never changes, and that is Doctor Strange. According to speculations, Marvel is planning a Midnight Sons feature, similar to the Young Avengers, which has yet to be formally revealed but is known to fans. Doctor Strange, Blade, Hellstrom, Hannibal King, Moon Knight, Ghost Rider, and the Scarlet Witch are rumored to be in the works for the MCU’s Midnight Sons.
As per the rumor, all supernatural members would gather to battle Blackout, who will be hinted at by another well-known marvel entity, The Mephisto. When Wanda Vision initially aired, Mephisto was a popular character, and many speculations about his appearance have surfaced since then.
When asked about the Midnight Sons, Oscar Isaac intimated that he’d want to see Daredevil and The Punisher link up in the project.
With Spider-Man: No Way Home, Daredevil has made its official debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Other Marvel characters on Netflix may get a soft reboot, but Jon Bernthal’s Punisher position is irreplaceable, and his character is almost certainly continuing in the MCU.
