Go Heritage Run: A Run for Fitness

INDIA: If you are a fitness freak and adventure lover and want to explore scenic locations, then Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board has a complete package. As a pioneer in introducing new ideas for promoting tourism in the state, MP Tourism Board has declared the dates of the anticipated event ‘Go Heritage Run’ in Pench National Park, Seoni. As part of Wellness tourism, the run will be organized on the 13th of March 2022.

The distances to be mapped by the athletes and enthusiasts participating in the untimed fun run will be 5km, 10 km, and 21km. The run will begin from Kipling’s Court at 7:00 AM, 6:45 AM, and 6:30 AM, respectively. All participants will receive a certificate, T-shirt, and a medal. Mr. Yuvraj Padole, Deputy Director, Events and Marketing, MPTB, said, “All the events including ‘Go Heritage Run’ are organized to popularize tourist places of the state on the World map.”

The main motive of the event is also to create awareness among tourists and other people for conservation and protection of the places. This also helps to improve local employment, local traditions, food habits, and art, culture, and crafts of the place.

Timings for run

5km:- 7:00 AM

Tourist Attraction

Madhya Pradesh is known for its wildlife properties, and Pench National Park is among them. It is located in the districts of Seoni and Chhindwara. River Pence flows through the park; thus, this National Park got its name and is one of India’s most admired wildlife reserves. The National park is also mentioned in the famous story of 1894, ‘The Jungle Book,’ penned down by the renowned English author Rudyard Kipling. Since then, it has become a significant tourist attraction in India.
