INDIA: Following the release of national award winner Pallavi Joshi’s motion poster, the makers of Kashmiri Files have released another poster starring Darshan Kumar as Krishna Pandit. Darshan Kumar is well-known for his roles in ‘Mary Kom’, ‘NH 10’, ‘Sarbjit’, ‘Baaghi 2’, and ‘Toofan.’

The Kashmiri Files is written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri, who has previously directed notable films such as Buddha in a Traffic Jam (2016) and The Tashkent Files (2019). Among his works, The Tashkent Files was a smash hit.

The film’s ensemble cast includes National Awardee winners Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, and Pallavi Joshi. It also stars prominent actors such as Prakash Belawadi, Puneet Issar, Chinmay Mandlekar, Darshan Kumaar, Bhasha Sumbli, Amaan Iqbal, Prithviraj Sarnaik, and Atul Srivastava.

What does the character poster of Kashmiri Files mean?

In the motion poster, Darshan’s character is heard saying “Jab masum ladko ko gadiyo se bandh bandh kar ghasita jayega aur unpar rape charges lagaye jayenge toh sataye hue log kya karenge? guns nahi uthayega toh..arti utarenge’’.

This dialogue establishes his character as Krishna Pandit, who might be the grandson of Pushkar Nath Pandit. In Anupam Kher’s motion poster, we can assume that dialogue is in response to Krishna Pandit’s argument.
