UNITED STATES: Since the post-credit scene of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hinted at Adam Warlock’s appearance in future MCU films. Many fans speculated that he would appear in Avengers: Infinity War 2018 because he played a major role in The Infinity Gauntlet comics (1991), from which the film is loosely adapted.
Aside from that, a crucial point that has fueled speculation about the hypothesis is Adam’s link to the soul stone.
Despite the fact that the character did not appear in Avengers: Infinity War or Avengers: Endgame, fans have never given it much thought.
The earlier rumor stated that Zac Efron will play the character. But for few days a rumor has been spread about Will Poulter casting as Adam Warlock. Now it has been confirmed by director James Gunn on his Twitter handle.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 will be released on May 5, 2023. Poulter was welcomed into the Marvel Cinematic Universe by writer and director James Gunn, who described him as “a brilliant actor and nice guy.”
In both Midsommar and Black Mirror, Will Poulter played a pivotal part. Where fans have known him from The Maze Runner series and The Revenant. He’s also become a well-known personality as a result of the “you guys are getting paid?” meme template.
According to sources, Gunn and executives began their extensive search for the individual who would play Warlock towards the end of August.
Although fans have mixed feelings about the decision, it will be fascinating to see such a brilliant actor play a key Marvel character.
